Where Learning Comes First

League Philosophy

The Crossing Over League©  is designed to cater to each players personal development.  We place a large emphasis on ensuring each player is given the opportunity to grow and develop as much as possible.  We value creating learning opportunities for the players rather than winning.  In the Crossing Over League©, we try to emulate the Travel Soccer environment as much as possible to prepare the players for the next level.  However, we do our best to maintain a stress free, safe, and fun environment so learning can take place.  Although we encourage learning and personal development, above all, we encourage having FUN!!!  Come out and play!

 

When:  Spring and Fall seasons

Where:  Edison High School Lower FIeld / SYA Sports Park / Manchester Lakes

Time:  Games will start after 3PM to ensure zero Rec. League time conflicts.

Days:  Saturdays

Format: 

- 5v5 (Including GK)

-Bownets 4'x6'

-Field Dimensions 40x30

-Two 20 minute halves (5 minute half time)

-No offside (coach out of it)

-No punting / dropkicks

-Second chance throw-in

-Blow out rule (If a team is up by 5 or more goals, the opposing team may place another player on the field)
