Position:  Director of Youth Development and Camp/Clinic Director
Reports to: Club Executive Director
Salary: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Percentage of Summer Camps and Clinics additional to base salary.
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Plans, implements, supervises and evaluates all Instructional Soccer programs and activities. Develop and foster healthy relationships, with all members.
Plans, implements, supervise and evaluates all Summer Camps, Spring Break Camps, Winter Skills Clinics
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
*Develop and publicize age appropriate curriculum for each age group Soccer Tots - U8 for fall and spring seasons. Implement U.S. Soccer Curriculum by developing customized LMVSC-specific curriculum based guidance, personal experience and accepted soccer resources. 
*Implement curriculum with each age group.   Maintain consistency with TD's club training goals. Train trainers for Soccer Tot, Mini Kickers, Little Patriots, U7 and U8 Academy coaches on the soccer curriculum, concepts and objectives for each season.
*Evaluate coaches to ensure the approved curriculum is being applied and that communication with and management of House players meets established VYSA standards. Support the coaches throughout the season by answering questions and attending practices/games as needed based on availability
*Supervise process of obtaining indoor space for winter training programs for house training.
*Create a written crossover curriculum and training plan for each season to include the objectives and core skills to be focused on.        
*Develop the training and game schedule for the Crossing Over Program.
*Manage the crossover program. Manage the weekly game rosters and communicate clearly and early with parents.
*Develop and supervise player feedback and review process for all crossover players and begin early *Identification process for potential travel players
*Develop process for parents to provide feedback on crossover program.
*Attend regular Soccer Program Staff meetings
 
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
National Youth License –USSF D License acceptable, would prefer a higher Coaching License.
Demonstrates ability and interest in working with youth
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required.
