The LMVSC Patriots are proud to have Coach Lula Bauer as their head coach. Coach Bauer’s philosophy is "slow and steady" wins the race. Coach Bauer graduated from Louisiana University of Monroe and went on to achieve her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at George Mason University. Coach Bauer's most honorable moment as a nurse was being selected to President Reagan's Surgical Team at GW Hospital when John Hinckley attempted to assassinate the President.
Coach Bauer has her USSF D License, National Youth License, NCSAA National License = USSF C License, NSCAA Advance National License = USSF B Licsense.
In 2005 Coach Bauer was honored as the VYSA 2005 Girl’s Coach of the Year, Region 1 2005 Girl’s Coach of the Year. 2004 High School National District Coach of the Year. Head Coach of Yorktown High School in Arlington Virginia ’04,’05,’06. District Champions ’04.’05,’06. Regional Semi Finals in ’06. Currently assistant coaching at West Springfield High School. Coach Bauer was named 2009 Liberty Mutual Responsible Coach for the State of Virginia.
Being a Female Athlete herself, Coach Bauer knows how to prepare the female athletic for the next level. Discipline, respect and committment are qualities she instills in her players.
